    Question #59894. my_baby_love asks:

In nations that English is the official language, what is the largest city begining with the letter "X"?

    satguru

Best I could do was 'Xylophagou' in Cyprus, but English is not their first language. I'd say anywhere in the States beginning with X would win but I don't have a good enough map of it to find one.

I found Xenia near Dayton, Ohio, with a population of 25,000.

Given your undoubted skills as keeper of the AFT annals, can you tell us the question number of that one where we went through the whole alphabet of world cities?

I remember that one. As I recall McG decided that as it was such a huge question to answer, that it was better to be done seperately, I think. I'll have a scrounge around on my desk here with all my messy scraps of paper I keep my records on...

I don't remember that one gmack, I just had to trawl about 14 pages to find this (having realised I'd forgotten to check) as search seems to be permanently down. And I can confirm peasypod has what I was going to add.
If the search returns so will my record keeping, but at the moment I'm as stymied as everyone... :(
