How large is the modern Canadian navy?
Question

According to the 2002 edition of Whitaker’s Almanac, the Canadian Navy had 4 destroyers, 12 frigates, 14 coastal and patrol vessels and 9,000 personnel (there is no mention of submarines, but I believe it has a few of those as well).
This information is admittedly four years out of date, but things probably haven’t changed much since then.

The submarines are Upholder Class diesel/electric patrol submarines. The Canadian Navy operates 4 of them.
