Jerome K Jerome exaggerated the world's most famous one to amusing effect in "Three Men In A Boat", there is a record breaking one on a Danish island, Napoleon went into one in Italy and I have been into another record-breaking one in Wiltshire. What are they and name the ones referred to?

Mazes.
Jerome described the Hampton Court Maze. The enormous Danish example is on the island of Samso; Napoleon got lost in Il Labirinto at Villa Pisani in Stra; and you might have visited the Great Western Maze in Wiltshire.

Sorry, I didn't have time to post this earlier. It mentions the Hampton Court Maze (with a link that includes part of Jerome's description), and the Samso Maze:

You worked your way round to an almost complete "yay" there.
The one in Wiltshire that I visited was the 1.69 mile one at Longleat on a gloriously sunny day.
Happily, the famous lions of Longleat are not encountered within the maze.
The description of the maze in "Three Men In A Boat" is found in the site below in the paragraph starting:
"Harris asked me if I'd ever been in the maze at Hampton Court..."

You're going to deny me a complete yay because I didn't quite get the right one in Wiltshire?
AAAAhhhhgggg!
O.K. I am now relaxed and entirely calm.
(Grrrrrr....)

Relaxed?!
Sounds like she could use some of your Hot Earl Grey, gmack. I'll let her borrow some, just this once...

I was only holding back a very little bit of it, Frankie!
In fact, if you can show me that the Great Western Maze in Wiltshire is record-breaking I will award you the rest of it.
And yes, Peasy, of course I don't mind Frankie having some Earl Grey. If we could give the whole world a cup it would solve a lot of problems...

Actually, I've visited Longleat myself, and I haven't the faintest idea whether the Great Western is record-breaking -- and it does seem to be temporary on an annual basis. But it's large.
Now that I've had my tea (China preferred), I might mention that I made just a very minor comment on the Popescu problem ...
