    The ancient Greek "khaos" meant "great void" or "abyss" prior to the existence of the gods:

    I believe it means 'unformed' or without order; ie. the universe prior to ordered events and patterns.

    yes me too his children were abyss and the underworld, R U ASKIN: whats the difference...
    Abyss is an empty pit to no where, underworld is HADES' KINGDOM OF THE DEAD but 4 Catholics Abyss and Hell are both the same
