Nelson disobeyed Admiral Hyde Parker at the Battle of Copenhagen, putting a telescope to his blind eye and saying "I see no ships". - True Nelson had a flagrant affair with Lady Emma Hamilton. - True. He had one daughter, Horatia, by her but no legitimate children. Nelson's last words were "Kiss me, Hardy". - False. According to witnesses he said this but they weren't his last words. Hardy wasn't there when he said it. He didn't say "Kismet" as the word wasn't in use to mean fate at that time. Nelson was transported home in a barrel of rum. - Undecided. Brandy was more traditional (no not Napoleon Brandy) and it is thought unlikely that his men tapped the barrel on the way home as there was much respect for the man. Nelson was an Admiral. - False.
