I want to say a golf club, but so far I've only found ranges of up to about 60 degrees. Could make for an interesting shot, anyway! Also comes into ergonomic furniture and other chairs, ie angle between seat and back.

i found this question at a site proclaiming to have 'THE IMPOSSIBLE TRIVIA QUESTION HALL OF FAME - "Often asked but never answered."'
the onle thing that immediately springs to mind is a spatula (with the flat surface attached at the 115 degree angle in relation to the shaft)

Um, not all footballs are spherical, most are kinda ovoid. And it could be the angles of the individual pieces that make up a football (or soccer ball), volleyball, netball etc. Somehow I don't think so, but then something tells me peasy knows more...!

....peasy does know more, yes. Peasy found an obscure US game show site that asked this exact question as its "Impossible Question" of the day, yesterday.
The answer was posted today as a 'football'. ;)

American football or soccer ball?

Yeah Peasy, wasn't there any more information? And by the way, MBL, it could also be a Rugby (League or Union) or Australian Rules football - all are roughly the same shape as a gridiron ball.

What is a gridiron ball?
Here in the US we have American football, the ball looks like a fat uncurved banana, and soccer which is your football.

US football, AKA gridiron. Perhaps it's only known as that outside the US...I believe the name comes from the lines on the field.
I'm in Australia, by the way, where we're somewhere in between the US and the UK in a lot of things - soccer is more commonly called 'soccer' than 'football', but you get a bit of both. 'Football' usually means one or other of the kinds I listed, all of which have balls shaped like the squashed egg-type used in American football. They're just different sizes/weights/materials. Hope that's not just made you more confused MBL!
