    Why is it so important to track solar storms as they approach Earth?

    		Solar flares produce high amounts of radioactivity and heat. So not only do they warm up the atmosphere, but they cause problems in communication systems.

    		Astronauts can be exposed to high amounts of radiation especialy on spacewalks,solar flairs/storms cause atmospheric changes that can affect re-entry and low orbit objects as well as electronics,comunications and cause auroras.
