You wouldn't be talking about Bukovina, located between Romania and Ukraine, by any chance?

Yay, Josh! That Wiki article mentions "Dracula" and his castle is described as being in the Carpathian Mountains on the border between Transylvania and Bukovina. Somehow the former got all the press.
