    We all know that snot is green, but in around 1 in 10,000 people, it comes out blue. What is the name of the bacteria that causes this blue snot?

    The answer is Pseudomonas pyocyanea, though the author is not sure of its certainty.

    Some snot is also red, that would be due to blood.
