Nope. Earlier than that... Hint: It was a SYNDICATED game show.

The answer - "Chance of a Lifetime" hosted by Jim Lange - 2 seasons (Jan 86 - Apr '87), 9 winning couples. First season was ALL CASH, paid in a 25-year annuity. Nowhere in the question did I say CASH PRIZE, or that the prize was given all at once. As an aside, this was over a decade before Regis hit the scene with "Millionaire".
