No, that was by the Jews who had to leave in a hurry, and celebrated annually since.
I can't answer directly but do know they tested the faeces of many mummies and ancient corpses (dirty job but someone has to do it etc.) and could tell exactly what their diets were made up of including the bread. But considering the resources of the time, local grain, milled by stones and raised by yeast should produce fresh whole-grain bread just like we now buy in a health food shop. I know also things could be added, like sunflower seeds which are common in the area, just as they are now.

There really isn't all that much of a difference between the bread we eat today and the type of bread people here ate thousands of years ago. It's still made from flour ground from the same species of wheat. Some barely cakes were also popular (the book of Deuteronamy claims that Israel was a "land of wheat and barely, vine fruits, and figs and pomogranates..."). Only for seven days out of the yea, and for certain sacrifices, did they not allow the dough to rise - the unleavened bread is just regular bread that wasn't allowed to bake.
