I was having a lot of doubts about if it topped the charts or not. There's a bit of controversy all around the Wikipedia articles.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%C3%A9line_Dion - «Dion's real international breakthrough came when she recorded the title track for the soundtrack to the animated Disney hit film Beauty and the Beast with Peabo Bryson. The song topped the U.S. charts for five weeks»
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Celine_Dion_discography - «1992: "Beauty and the Beast" (with Peabo Bryson) - #9 US, #9 UK, #2 Canada»
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hot_100_No._1_Hits_of_1992_%28USA%29 - No "Beauty and the Beast" track listed there, or on any of the other years.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_artists_who_reached_number_one_on_the_Hot_100_%28US%29 - «Céline Dion (5)» - Considering "The Power Of Love", "Because You Loved Me", "My Heart Will Go On" and "I'm Your Angel" are definitely no. 1 singles, since they appear on the articles of Céline Dion's discography as having reached #1 in the US, and they are also mentioned on the articles of Hot 100 No. 1 Hits of 1994; 1996; 1998 and 1999 (US), then that 5th single mentioned on the article would be Beauty and the Beast.
That's why I asked here. Is there anyone who has a definite positive answer about this? I have tried Wikipedia, but the articles are not corresponding between themselves, so you can never be sure on what's right.

In the UK's "Guinness Book of British Hit Singles" a triangle appears next to songs which topped the US Billboard singles chart.
There is no such triangle next to "Beauty and the Beast" so no, it never reached #1. Only the four song you mentioned before as #1s hit the top for Celine.
Incidentally, it reached #9 here in the UK.
