If you have a suntan because you are always out in the sun and you move to some place where you are not always exposed to the sun, will your skin get lighter or go back to the original skin color again?

New skin cells are forming all the time at the bottom of the epidermis. They move to the top of the epidermis and replace old skin cells which are continuously falling off.
