If you have a suntan because you are always out in the sun and you move to some place where you are not always exposed to the sun, will your skin get lighter or go back to the original skin color again?

I think it might go back to the original color unless you are exposed to the sun alot.

New skin cells are forming all the time at the bottom of the epidermis. They move to the top of the epidermis and replace old skin cells which are continuously falling off. If you have a suntan and then stay out of the sun for a period of time, the old, tanned cells will die and flake off and the new, untanned cells take their places, so you will appear to lighten or return to your normal skin colour.
