Besides Joseph Joachim, who else arranged for violin and piano some of Brahm's Hungarian dances?

    Question #60857. Asked by carlos1942. (Dec 06 05 4:58 AM)

    Arpeggionist

Joachim's arrangements are the best known, but Fritz Kreisler probably arranged some of them, or Menuhin, or any number of really great violinists. I've never heard them, however, in any violin/piano arrangement other than Joachim's.

I myself have reworked some of them for single piano.
