Make your mind up! Either "no it doesn't" or "it hardly ever" does.
I gather it snowed in the Sahara desert in 1981, but snow in a lowland desert region like the Nile valley is certainly rare.
There is a theatrical production called "It Doesn't Snow In Egypt", but that is wrong. It does in the mountains:

I interpret JSBach as saying, "No it doesn't (snow on the Egyptian pyramids)" as that was the actual question. Then he added, "It hardly ever snows in Egypt (at all)."
