Then there's the Rubnstein brothers (Anton and Nicolai). Or perhaps you mean Giacomo Mayerbeer and his brother (whose name escapes me)? Modest Tchaikovsky was the string player in that family, while Piotr is the better known composer (having written the well known "Souvenir de Florence"). Fritz Kreisler didn't have a musician brother, but he did play the piano "better than the violin" according to his wife. Did Leopold Mozart have a brother? Wolfgang Mozart didn't.
