This man invented a word in the 1950s that was meant satirically but has since changed meaning and has been positively touted by modern politicians. He also founded many organisations including one that has been renamed after its magazine. His son is best known for writing a book which sounds like the opposite of Dale Carnegie's bestseller. What is the name of the man, the word, the rebranded organisation and the title of the son's book?

Michael (later Lord) Young wrote “The Rise of the Meritocracy” in 1958, giving us the word “meritocracy.”

He founded the Consumers’ Association, which published the magazine “Which?”

His son Toby, who is apparently well known for writing about himself all the time in modish newspapers, has written a book called “How to Lose Friends and Alienate People.”

Yay TT! Michael's son Toby may be unpopular but he was branded a "Hitler" by Julie Birchill so he can't be all bad!
