Why do some game systems have better graphics than others?

because some people who design them or w/e put more time into the graphics than others.

Here's an example of what buffy98 said.
Good: Microsoft/Sony
Bad: Nintendo/Other

It's because game systems have different memory and pixel capasity. The more the designers put in there, the less pixels there are, making the graphics worse.
