    "Wilhelm Konrad Rontgen (1845-1923) was a German physicist who discovered X-Rays in 1895 when he was experimenting with electrical discharges in a vacuum tube. X-Rays are a form of radiation that can pass throught some materials but not others. They are now widely used in medicine to look inside the body, and in industry to show ip flaws in solid objects."
