As far as I can tell, "What's My Line?" was never on radio in the UK. It had a brief spell on radio in its native US before transferring to TV.
Its UK TV incarnation began in 1951 with famously grouchy Gilbert Harding alternating with Eamonn Andrews as chairman. Harding had his cards mixed up in one show and argued with the guest, creating so much chaos that he vowed never to present the show again.
There were several panellists but the best known line-up of the early period probably included Lady Isobel Barnet, David Nixon, Barbara Kelly and Gilbert Harding, who returned as a panellist.
