Which countries (or provinces) are governed by the Sharia law?

Yes, obviously, but only a few Muslim countries are ruled by the Sharia law. It´s Saudi Arabia, Iran and possibly some more. There are also some provinces in f.ex. Pakistan, Nigeria and Indonesia (Aceh) that are ruled by the Sharia law. I would like some more information about this.

Most countries in North Africa and the Middle East have a dual syatem of religious courts dealing with family and inheritance matters, secular courts for everything else. Some hardline areas such as northern Nigeria seem to have handily adopted the harsh punishments of Sharia law without the laws about evidence and trials.

I think Sudan and Libya should be added to the list, along with the northern provinces of Pakistan.

At least the North West Frontier Province of Pakistan is governed by the Sharia law, I don´t know about the other provinces of Pakistan.
