There's a Simpsons episode where Troy McClure hosts a review of several Simpsons scenarios. In this episode Lisa appears as a teenager with long blonde hair, looking nothing at all like the normal Lisa Simpson. All the other characters were their normal selves and ages. Why did the producers show Lisa like this, and were there any other episodes where the teenage Lisa appeared?

In the vignette, "Simpson Family Smile-Time Variety Hour", Lisa didn't appear much like actress Eve Plumb when she was asked to reprise her role as Jan Brady on the short-lived variety show "The Brady Bunch Hour". Of course, in both cases, the replacement actresses looked nothing like the original ones.
I'm pretty sure that the replacement Lisa never appeared in any other episodes, but Lisa has been shown as a teenager in other episodes like "Future-Drama".

Thanks, I've never watched the 'Brady Bunch Hour' so couldn't possibly have made the connection to the Simpsons. I know about the episodes featuring a future older Lisa, but in these the other family members are also older. The Troy McClure vignette was certainly a strange one, and thanks for the interesting reference website.

There are no other episodes of Lisa looking like this, because it was not Lisa, but a stand-in. Troy McClure stated that Lisa refused to take part in this show, and that thanks to creative casting, no-one would notice, but of course, the new Lisa looked nothing like her, which was deliberate.
