How long did it take the producers of "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" to create the very realistic looking Civil War cemetery in the closing scenes?

I hesitate to post this as it does not answer the question. However, I have run into nothing that indicates the length of time it took to create the cemetery but did encounter the following: "As to the cemetary, it was built for the film by a unit of 250 Spanish soldiers (info from Frayling's Leone biography.)" Perhaps if anyone has this biography...it may give a time frame??? May 15 06, 3:19 PM
