Bob Holness never played guitar on "Layla", Marilyn Manson was not the bespectacled boy on "The Wonder Years" and Parsons and Keith are not closely related.
It's just one of those strange unfounded celebrity rumours that goes around once in a while.
There is one notable celebrity connection to "Just A Minute" presenter Nicholas Parsons. His father was a doctor in Grantham, and one of the people he delivered was a Margaret Hilda Roberts, who later became the PM Margaret Thatcher.
