    		Unless it is refering to place names, variously in Canada and Ireland, or to a stand-up comedian, then it refers to

    Emo (music), "emotional hardcore" musical genre, prevalent amongst classic 80s Washington D.C. bands and their descendents.
    Emo (slang), used to describe the attitudes and fashion seen as stereotypical within the recent emo scene.
