Officially it is in the Coronation Throne in London, unless they've hidden it in a safe somewhere. According to some Scottish Nationalists, it's in Scotland. It did get stolen some years ago, but according to most reliable sources was recovered and returned to its place.

It's Scone not Scones, by the way. Scone (pronounced scoon not scowne as in the edible item) is a place in Scotland where the Kings of Scots and later the Kings of Scotland were crowned. (There is a difference.)

I thought the Stone of Scone had been returned to Scotland sometime in the 90's, and this seems to be the case. According to this site, it is now in Edinburgh Castle, but it will be transported back to England for coronation ceremonies:

Could well be. Unless they've sent a fake one - possibly not knowing it's fake. There are disputes as to whether the real one was ever recovered. I have Scottish ancestry (and relations scattered about from Oban to Ullapool - they're gradually moving northwards for some reason) but find it hard to get worked up about a lump of rock.
