The flag of Bermuda includes a picture of the wrecked “Sea Venture.” The wreck, which occurred in 1609, is widely supposed to have inspired (or helped to inspire) Shakespeare’s “The Tempest,” written a couple of years later. Certainly, in Act 1 Sc 2, Ariel says that the king’s ship is hidden “in the deep nook, where once thou call’dst me up at midnight to fetch dew from the still-vexed Bermoothes.”

Yay TT! One famous Bermuda vessel was HMS Pickle, the boat that carried the news of the Battle of Trafalgar back to Britain.
