I am trying to remember the name of this American author, who I think lived around the late 1800's and wrote many 'rags to riches' stories. Can anyone jog my memory? I am trying to find the name of a comic book series that was set in space with the characters wearing roman dress (and I have the idea that one of the characters was called Trajan, but can't be sure). It was in some almanacs at my school library in the early 1980's. Can anyone help? Who wrote the wedding march?
