Which think-tank formed in 1997 contains some of George W Bush's cabinet and is thought to have been responsible for much of his foreign policy?

This is the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), chaired by Bill Kristol and including such members as Dick Cheney, Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, and John Bolton.

I have to say that I doubt the connection between PNAC and the Concerned Alumni for Princeton group mentioned this site and recently discussed publicly in connection with Samuel Alito's nomination to the Supreme Court. CAP was formed in the early 70's and no longer exists. Its goals were quite specific to Princeton, if representative of the conservative views on the admission of women and minorities held by many WASP Ivy League graduates in the late 60's. In addition, Bill Kristol is Jewish, and CAP involved significant undercurrents of anti-semitism.

    Yay Frankie!
I have to admit I'd never heard of the PNAC until I read this article, accusing Michael Moore of missing the real target with his "Fahrenheit 9/11".
