A museum visitor had an unfortunate mishap last week, and the result was serious damage to some valuable items. Where did this take place, what caused the accident, and what will the restorers be trying to repair?

Excellent, peasy. Though whoever decided to keep those Qing vases on a windowsill on a staircase should be beaten with a soggy guidebook.
This article discusses a few other art world disasters -- though it is true that some Greek and Roman vases smashed into hundreds of pieces have been amazingly well restored.
