Rohan. The Grandes Heures de Rohan, in the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris, is one of the most famous medieval books of hours, or richly illustrated personal prayer books. The Cardinal de Rohan, Archbishop of Strasbourg, was compromised in the affair of the Queen’s necklace in France in the 1780s.
