Does anyone know that the song In-a-gadda-da-vida was originally supposed to be "In the Garden of Eden"? They were so stoned when they sang it that it came out In-a-gadda-da-vida and it was a hit.

To add to that, I once saw an interview with Doug Ingle, where he discussed the title. With mysticism and "expanding one's mind" being fashionable at the time, he/they felt In-a-gadda-da-vida had a more eclectic appeal.
