It depends of the cultural group you are referring to.
For the Greeks, several goddesses seem to roam the sky. There's Iris, the sky-goddess who connected heavenly Olympus with earth, especially when the gods wished to take an oath. Another of the Greek goddesses is Aurora (Eos) which was the dawn of the morning.
Also for the Greeks there is Eosphorus (the morning light), mother of the motning winds: Zephyr, Boreas, Notos, and Euros.
