    In what role did "Old Betsy" take part in the battle of the Alamo?

    		Davy Crockett. He represented Tennessee in the U.S. Congress, served in the Texas rebellion, and died at the Alamo.
    Davy Crockett named his favorite rifle "old Betsy" it was a gift from the people of Tennessee, When he came to Texas he left it at his home there. "Old Betsy" now resides in the Alamo Chapel in San Antonio.
