    Of those registered, Persian is #1 followed by Maine Coon, Siamese, Exotic, and Abyssinian.

    I believe the Maine Coon is larger than the Persian. I had a cat that was either a Maine Coon or a Manx and he topped out at 31 pounds and was only barely overweight for his frame.
