It (1986) Inspiration He tells the story of his inspiration in his own words. http://www.stephenking.com/pages/works/It/inspiration.php This site says differently but is obviously wrong. A third source for the lyrics to "Floating" was Stephen King's "IT" in which a malevolent clown lures children into the underworld.
