What is the origin of the phrase "porcupine's balls"? I hear this all the time lately but have no idea where it comes from.

    Question #62920. Asked by mattc333. (Feb 27 06 12:36 AM)

    McGruff

Porcupine balls are meat balls made of ground beef and rice. There is also a rubbery-plastic toy called a porcupine ball. If you are hearing this phrase a lot, maybe you should stop telling such tall tales. I think it's akin to "horse hockey."
