After the TV show "Gilligan's Island" ended I remember seeing at least two episodes of a spinoff show that took place in the American West. The "Skipper" was the leader of a wagon train, "Gilligan" was his bumbling sidekick, there was a Maryann-like schoolmarm, a Professor-like intellectual, a wealthy couple, and a dancehall girl. Does anyone remember this series, and who was in it?

Try Dusty's Trail, another Sherwood Shwartz show (produced GI, as well as the Brady Bunch). Dusty was played by Bob Denver, who played Gilligan, but the rest of the cast is different.

Didn't find a lot about the show, but here's a little about it.

Ron Howard once made a guest appearance on a sitcom that was built around a TV show, but might possibly have been a radio station. The interviewer seemed to feel he was interviewing Opie, not Ron Howard, and asked about Aunt Bee, Andy, etc. They even asked him to sing the song 'Wells Fargo Wagon' with his lisp. He gave up and actually sang the song before the show ended. I can't remember the name of the show, but hope to find it and maybe see that episode again. Can anyone remember this show?

Does anyone know the rest of the words to the rhyme that starts "Bronco Lane had a pain, so he went to Wagon Train, Wagon Train was no good, so he went to Robin Hood"? I think there are quite a few more verses, but can't remember them.

Does anyone remember an Australian TV show in the 1960's called The Magic Boomerang? I was very young and I remember it as a favourite, but I can't remember who was in it, or much else about it. Can any of you Aussie Baby Boomers jolt your memories for me?
