Juv, no need to pack the money in a briefcase. Too conspicuous. I'll just swing by and pick it up later...

    2286 Thickness of a dollar bill: .1mm
    304.8 millimeters in a foot
    Dimensions of suitcase 3 x 2.5 x 1
    304.8(at this point equaling the one) x 2.5 x 3

    The math is all wrong!

    304 MM per foot
Bill is 6" long by 2 9/16" wide (lets call it 2 1/2")

One stack of bills (1/10 of MM thick each) equaling 1 foot tall (304 MM) is 3040.

You can fit 5 stacks (6" x 5 = 2.5 ft) placed end-to-end across the case (front to rear).

You can fit 12 stacks side-by-side across the case (left-to-right or right-to-left in Israel).

    5 deep by 12 wide = 60.

    60 x 3040 = $182,400.

    Final Answer.

The volume of the container is 36x12x30(12,960)cubic inches and the volume of the note is 2.61x6.14x0.0043(0.0689092)cubic inches so the upper limit on flat notes is 188,073.58 however there will be some unused space depending upon the stacking rules. The calculation of available space has some interesting industrial applications.
