The trouble with me looking for anything in England is I don't know where it is when I find something.
Gorgeous little place, but I don't think it's Kent.

Museums
Heron Corn Mill
In 1988, to commemorate 500 years of paper making in England, the barn on the site was refurbished to house the Museum of Paper Making, adding another dimension to the site. Paper making is an important local industry, established over 250 years ago on the opposite bank of the river.

Heron Corn Mill on the banks of the river Bela in Beetham; South Cumbria, close to the Lancashire border, is one of the few working mills in the area. A facinating visitor attraction, the fourteen-foor high waterwheel powers all the machinery.
Also, on the Heron Corn Mill site is the Museum of Papermaking. An important local industry, papermaking was established in the area over 250 years ago on the opposite bank of the river.

Thanks for the responses indicating, so far, that there is no Paper/Papermaking Museum in Kent now, however, could one have existed about 30 years ago
near Snodland?

Update on this question.
I tried an old paper industry friend who was born and raised in Kent. He says it was in St. Mary Cray near Snodland but the contents were moved to extend the paper industry exhibit in the Manchester Museum of Science and Technology.
