In the show Teen Titans, what is the physical connection or relationship between Slade and Robin?

I was watching the Teen Titans episode "Revved Up" and at the end of the episode, the character Robin opened up a brief-case. The case had something in it that the show never said what it was. Just what was in the case, and does it have anything to do with the following episode "Go" or is it just a secret that only the crew really knows?

What is the name of an old titans movie, it's cartoon/animated and it has four titans in it; a fire, water, wind, and ground. It also has Aphrodite on her "surfing shell" and it has Zeus and Hera in it and, I think, Hercules?
