    On "Lost", how many people on the island know about the hatch?

    		I would think that all of the survivors from flight 815 know about the hatch because Hurley handed out food from the pantry in the hatch. They all would have wondered where it came from.

    There are 14 characters that I can think of that have actually been shown inside the hatch, Jack, Locke, Sawyer, Kate, Michael, Jin, Sun, Hurley, Sayid, Mr. Eko, Libby, Rose, Charlie, and Henry Gale. Claire asked Locke if she and Aaron could stay in the bedroom in the hatch, so she obviously knows about it. Danielle, Bernard and Ana-Lucia also would know about it, if for some reason there are still some survivors who don't know about it.

    Hard to say if the "others" know about it.

    		But then why would everyone want to stay inside the hatch?

    		Claire was afraid something was going to happen to Aaron and thought the hatch would be safer than being out on the beach at night.
