The omission of a somewhat morally important word discovered in a new version of the Bible caused a certain God-fearing King to fine the incompetant printers. What was the word, and what new name was this Bible given throughtout modern history, and why?

The most famous blunder in the history of the King James Bible to come off the printing press was the 1631 edition. Robert Barker, the printer to the throne, inadvertently left out “not” in the seventh commandment! It was dubbed “the Wicked Bible” and Barker was fined 300 pounds for the error.
