    What is the most shots a goalie has faced in an NHL game, and how many of those shots did he save?

    		Sam LoPresti faced 83 shots and stopped 80 of them in a game in the late 1930s or early 1940s. I think he played for Chicago. His son Pete had a brief NHL career in the 1970s.

    		On 04/11/2007 in the first game of their playoff series between the Vancouver Canucks and the Dallas Stars Robert Luongo recorded 76 shots faced and saved 72 of them. He beat the previous record set by Kelly Hrudey (N.Y.I. on 04/18/1987) and Eddie Belfour (Tor. on 04/16/2003) of 75 shots faced. Luongo fell one short of Kelly Hrudey's record of 73 saves in one game for New York Islanders on 04/18/1987.

    I read the film 'Suzie Gold' was actually filmed in the Isle of Man, but when I saw it I recognised many local landmarks near my old house. The actual address was Norrice Lea, London N2 and as far as I can see the outdoor shots were exactly there. The Central London shots also looked far too urban to be the Isle of Man, so did the article get it all wrong or did they fool me?
