The dormouse wakes up and begins to scamper through the treetops in search of food. For two hours it eats nuts, seeds, flowers, and insects. Then it's time for a rest. It takes several long naps before returning to its nest around 3 AM to sleep for the next 17 or 18 hours.
Koala spends about 15 hours a day sleeping, then it dozes lightly for another five hours.
Bats also conserve energy by spending most of their time sleeping-about 20 hours a day. http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qa4128/is_200410/ai_n9462164
