In order for there to be a complete and accurate list for 2005 all these companies will have had to closed their books after their fiscal year end. Since it is only March, I very much doubt this has happened. I don’t think you will see a new list from Forbes until closer to the end of 2006. Mar 16 06, 8:00 AM

Interbrand had once pegged this brand's value higher than the company's market capitalisation. This 16 year old brand was valued at a whopping rs.350 crore. The brand stands for style, quality, value and is made in India. Which brand is this? This company formed printing tickets and timetables for Chicago railway companies. The owner saved the company during the great fire by burying printing presses in sand. The company is now the biggest name in its field. What is it? I have noticed that while looking at LCD monitors, I see all these brands that I have never heard of in association with computers like ViewSonic, Acer, Envision, etc. Why is it these companies are in the market to sell monitors to compete with the more familiar Dell, Gateway, HP, Apple, etc.?
