Do you know a song played by kids when they learn music and that should have the title "Onions"? It's for a 40th birthday party: her mum told me she, as a child, used to play ukulele and was playing that song over and over. I would love to find it!

That's the instrumental by Booker T. and the MGs.

I wouldn't think "Green Onions" is played by kids learning music - and I can't really imagine it on the ukulele! (Having said that, I have played a drum solo in "Wipeout" on a djembe so who knows?) I also can't recall any words to it. There is something called "I love onions" and you can get a sample on http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00000DAR8/002-8026641-8224860?v=glance&n=5174 if your computer is working better than mine is at the moment. (Something's eaten my D: drive and I suspect it came from the computer company that got Adam downloaded from Eden.) (Personally, I HATE onions!)

Here's one from Mudcat:
I don't like to dance with Crazy Ted He's always jumping on my head But mmm, I love onions! Onions, onions, la-la-la! Onions, onions, ha-ha-ha! Root doot doot-doot, doot doot doot!
And another:

Tune is "Ja-da" (Jada Jada Ching Ching Ching

(PS - Got my DVD drive back by removing certain filters from the registry - anyone with the same problem contact me.)
