    How did the Greeks build the Trojan horse?

    No one knows, for the simple reason that no one knows whether there was such a thing, or whether this was merely a dramatic literary device, invented and elaborated by Virgil in the Aeneid, perhaps under the influence of a war or siege-machine concept.
