According to Muslims, anyone who is not Muslim is an infidel. Especially Christians.

I have yet to meet a Christian that calls anyone an "infidel." I have not even heard anyone called a "heathen" though that was the old Puritan favorite.

When I hear 'heathen' all I see is Edmund Blackadder with a wry smirk, a bashful Baldrick and a somewhat disgraced turnip. But that's a tad off-subject.
Here is a snippet from the Catholic Encyclopedia which states an 'infidel is a term given to those who have not been baptized'.

I've met a number of people baptized into the Catholic church as infants that don't even consider themselves Christian. I have a dozen Catholic relatives and they don't use "infidel", but that doesn't mean the priest wouldn't, I guess.

Heathen is still used by some violently Protestant Scottish and Northern Irish preachers. Mind you, to them the Pope is heathen....

For Christians, "infidel" is an antiquated expression.
