    What is the significance of "Ring Around the Rosie"?

    We have dealt with this before.

    For many years, this rhyme was claimed to refer to the Great Plague of London or even earlier European plagues. However, since it cannot be traced back beyond the 19th century, the plague connection may well be an old urban legend:
